Setup the IDS Image Displacement Station, and fix the monitoring targets on the structure to be monitored.
Inside the IDS Image Displacement Station, a photo containing all monitoring targets will be captured. The actual image is shown below.
The topological relationship between IDS10, the photo inside IDS10, and the monitored target point P is illustrated in the figure below. Here, f represents the focal length of the lens used in IDS10, which is a known value. The distance D between IDS10 and the monitored target point can be measured using a laser rangefinder.
When the monitored target point P has displacement of ΔP, the corresponding point p on the IDS image will shift by Δp pixels. Based on the principle of similar triangles, we can derive the actual displacement of point P using the known values of f, D, and Δp.

Ultra-High Precision:
Utilizing a self-developed image processing algorithm, the smallest recognizable unit in the photograph is enhanced to sub-pixel level.

Local Process and 4G transmission:
All the data calculate and process are finished inside IDS10. Clients get the final Δx and Δy, and all the data can be sent back to clients’ cloud directly.
