IDS10 (image-displacement-station) uses "Subpixel vision image measurement technology" to achieve non-contact, multi-point dynamic displacement monitoring of large structures such as bridges, tunnels, and buildings. This device has a maximum measurement distance of up to 500 meters, with a high measurement accuracy of up to 0.02mm. It can achieve a maximum data acquisition frequency of 20Hz, and a single device can perform real-time monitoring of up to 50 measurement points.

Setup the IDS Image Displacement Station, and fix the monitoring targets on the structure to be monitored.


Inside the IDS Image Displacement Station, a photo containing all monitoring targets will be captured. The actual image is shown below.


The topological relationship between IDS10, the photo inside IDS10, and the monitored target point P is illustrated in the figure below. Here, f represents the focal length of the lens used in IDS10, which is a known value. The distance D between IDS10 and the monitored target point can be measured using a laser rangefinder.


When the monitored target point P has displacement of ΔP, the corresponding point p on the IDS image will shift by Δp pixels. Based on the principle of similar triangles, we can derive the actual displacement of point P using the known values of f, D, and Δp.

Ultra-High Precision:
